Traditional Kesseh Glove

The ‘kesseh’ glove has been traditionally used in many cultures including Persian skincare for thousands of years. In traditional Persian bath routine, the mitt was typically used in a hot bath (known as “hammam”) along with ‘sefidab’ (translated as ‘white water’) a white substance containing animal fat mixed with various minerals to exfoliate and cleanse the skin.
